The Scammer’s Deceptive Move

As the conversation continued, the scammer initiated his real plan. He claimed that he had mistakenly transferred ₹25,000 instead of the intended amount and now requested the girl to return the excess money. This is a common scam tactic—first establish trust, then claim an “accidental overpayment” and demand a refund, thereby cheating the victim out of real money.

The Girl Outsmarts the Scammer

But this time, the scammer was out of luck. The girl quickly caught on to his plan and flipped the game. Just as he had sent a fake bank SMS, she created her own fake message—this time showing a transfer of ₹22,500—and sent it back to the scammer.

She calmly told him that the refund had been processed. The moment the scammer realized he had been fooled, he panicked and began to stumble over his words. Without giving him a chance to recover, the girl disconnected the call.
